Help us raise the bar on software quality that supports vital Social Care and Education services. As our

Quality Assurance Manager

, you'll play a key role in the QA leadership team, owning the testing strategy across our division and building a Test Centre of Excellence from the ground up. You'll mentor Test Leads, Engineers and Automation specialists, and make sure our releases are robust, performant and delivered on time and to budget.


You'll provide hands-on leadership across the SDLC, championing "quality first" and setting clear objectives and KPIs for the QA function. You'll design and embed best-practice processes aligned to ISO 9001, partner with Quality, Security & Compliance colleagues, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to continually improve test coverage, automation and non-functional testing so our cloud-ready products scale with confidence.


You'll analyse trends and project data, drive root-cause analysis, and reduce defects escaping to UAT/production. You'll ensure resource planning and utilisation are in place, maintain training and development plans, and keep the team motivated, skilled and supported. Above all, you'll help us deliver high-quality software that meets customer requirements and System C standards.

What you'll bring:



Strong track record leading QA/testing in Agile and waterfall environments, with deep knowledge of test methodologies. Experience establishing automation and non-functional testing frameworks; familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Xray, Jenkins, Selenium, SoapUI and Postman. Proven ability to manage and influence at all levels and drive collaboration across internal and external teams. Helpful: experience with Local Government information systems; relevant certifications (ISTQB/ISO 9001/Scaled Agile).
