What you'll do



You'll play a crucial role in supporting Frontline Workers and their Line Managers to maintain safe systems of work and implement best practice, including providing specialist advice, coaching and practical support as needed. You'll ensure that all Adverse Events are reported and investigated in line with our procedures and you'll attend site to undertake QHSE Audits & Inspections.

An important part of the role will be working with managers to develop and continually improve ISO management systems ensuring that they are and implemented and regularly reviewed. We employ a number of contractors and you will be heavily involved in vetting Contractor PQQs and ensuring that they are competent and safe.

You will also Identify, organise and source appropriate QHSE training, in addition to developing and delivering training and briefing sessions for employees at all levels of the business.

What we're looking for



We're looking for someone who holds a QNEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent). A full UK driving licence is also essential.

Internal Auditor (9001/14001/45001) and IEMA Environmental Management Certificate are desirable.

You will have a solid background in Health & Safety management and can demonstrate experience in formulating, improving and implementing Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and experience with integrated management systems.

You have previous experience of working within facilities management, housing or the construction sector. You have good IT skills and are proficient in using Windows Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will also be confident in using bespoke internal IT packages.

You can work well as part of a team, have a positive and professional attitude and can work well on your own initiative with the ability to self-motivate. You will need flexibility to work in various locations, which will therefore involve travelling to sites.
