About Us:

Broxap Ltd, is a private family business who are amongst the UK's market leaders in the design and manufacture of shelters, covered walkways, street furniture, litter bins, and playground equipment.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 40 hours.

Holidays:

25 days holiday entitlement, plus 8 bank holidays.

The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced, ambitious, qualified QHSE Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining accreditations such as ISO9001, ISO45001 & ISO14001 whist identifying other certifications to improve the business.

Performing quality reviews and audits on production to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Auditing all staff operations and procedures to ensure compliance with internal ways of working.

Identifying and establishing route cause quality nonconformities and develop preventative actions.

To perform an active role on process improvement activities and initiatives.

Promoting business awareness and ongoing compliance to all relevant QHSE legislation and regulatory requirements.

Creating, reviewing and maintaining risk assessments (e.g. Fire, DSEAR, COSHH and Manual Handling) and safe systems of work. Continuously monitor staff compliance of risk assessments and safe systems of work.

Accurately and promptly log and investigate all accidents and near misses, reporting necessary accidents to RIDDOR.

Working closely with the Production Manager and members of the QHSE teams

Experience and Required Skills:

A NEBOSH qualification.

Proven experience managing quality and health and safety in a construction and/or manufacturing environment (7+ years).

Experience in the auditing process for ISO and other accreditations.

The ability to positively promote health and safety in the workplace.

The ability to establish right first time culture in the business processes.
