Satys Air Livery (UK) Ltd is part of Satys's Aftermarket & VIP Painting Business Unit, offering turnkey projects for repainting VIP, commercial and military aircraft. It has 21 paint hangars located around the world of which some are A380 capable.

The role of the HSEQ Manager is to be responsible for Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality within the organisation including the relevant management systems. The overall aim of the department is to embed best practice, cultivate a positive H&S culture across the organisation, and promote the organisation's pillars of 'Safety First', 'Quality Always' and 'Green Forever'.
Responsibilities
To lead the QHSE department, ensuring a high-quality output from the team and identifying efficiencies and continuous improvements where required
To be responsible for monitoring and reviewing the Quality, Environmental and Safety Management Systems and the arrangements necessary to comply with all associated regulations & accreditations, including maintaining an Internal Audit System
To liaise with the Production Managers to ensure all the necessary risk / COSHH assessments and the resultant Safe Systems of Work are in place
Responsible for the accident & near miss reporting & investigation internally, externally, including RIDDOR
Manage external assessments, including DSEAR, Noise, chromium exposure
Responsible for the Health Surveillance system, and QHSE aspects of employee training, working in conjunction with HR where required
Responsible for Investigation and resolution of customer warranty and damage claims
To carry out internal quality audits (ISO 9001 / EN 9100) to the agreed plan, Including the education and follow up to other departments following NCRs.
Facilitate customer, 3rd party and certification body audits.
Responsible for maintaining requirements relating to each sites environmental permits, including reporting to the local authority. Compliance with environmental regulations
Qualifications, Skills and experience
Essential
Relevant qualification such as; NEBOSH NGC, Level 3 or Level 4 NVQ
Working knowledge of UK health & safety legislation
Working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
Role related experience in a manufacturing/production environment or construction
Good administrative capabilities and proficient in the use of Microsoft applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Confident and effective communicator
Ability to prioritise own workload and initiative to complete tasks in a timely manner
Ability to challenge & support change
Due to the nature of the business, there will be a requirement to travel across UK sites, as well as one in Bratislava, Slovakia, so a full driving licence and ability to travel overseas is essential
Desirable
Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001)
Knowledge & relevant experience of aircraft refinishing, or other industrial painting industry
Experience in producing and delivering training
