is a family-owned producer of high-quality pig and poultry feed. We're seeking an experienced, hands-on

QHSE Manager

(Health, Safety, Environment & Quality) to take full accountability for health & safety, environmental, and quality compliance across our busy feed mill and HGV fleet operations.

This is a

site-based, operational role

, often referred to as an

HSE / Health & Safety Manager role with additional Quality responsibility

, offering strong onsite visibility and influence across all operational areas, with one day per week working from home.

The Role

Lead and maintain all

QHSE management systems

. Drive a

positive safety culture

and ensure legal compliance. Manage a small team of

SHE Advisors

and a

QA Advisor

. Oversee audits, inspections, and continuous improvement actions. Maintain risk assessments, SSOWs, and method statements. Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.

Lead and control workplace transport, contractor management, HGV fleet safety, utilities, site services, and mill compliance.

Deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. Liaise with regulators and stakeholders.

About You

NEBOSH Level 3

(minimum). Strong operational QHSE experience, ideally in manufacturing, feed production, or heavy industry. Confident people manager with solid communication skills. Skilled in risk assessment and safe systems of work. Hands-on, practical, and comfortable working directly with

with operational teams during onsite days.

Comfortable operating in a role that combines

HSE leadership with Quality accountability

in a manufacturing environment.
