About the role



Reporting to our Director of Finance this is a role for a Senior Finance Associate, ideally with experience of working in financial services, who can display a rigorous and consistent approach to monthly reporting procedures.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing monthly investor reports for institutional funders

Preparing monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts

Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and bankers

Preparing daily regulatory client money reconciliation

Collating information for FCA returns and other regulatory reporting

Posting and reconciling bank transactions within the accounting system

Managing the purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring timely payment

Contributing to the budgeting and forecasting process

Updating and maintaining operational procedures

Assisting the Financial Administrator in carrying out daily banking duties, including advancing loan sums to new borrowers

Participating in various project workstreams

About you



In terms of knowledge, skills and experience, we would expect you to be:

A newly/recently qualified accountant

Proficient in the use of accounting software

Skilled in Excel, with the ability to handle data in an efficient way

An excellent verbal and written communicator

Self-motivated, with business acumen and strong relationship skills

A confident team player, able to co-ordinate with different departments

It would also be beneficial if you have:

Knowledge of credit decision making

An understanding of financial models and debt structures

Opportunities for further development



As LendingCrowd continues to grow, this role will become involved in more complex financial accounting, including gaining exposure to instruments such as derivatives as well as securitisation reporting.

Pay: 42,000.00-45,000.00 per year
