Job Summary

We are seeking a Qualified and Experienced Braider to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling, particularly in braiding techniques, and will be committed to providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients.

Duties

Perform a variety of braiding styles and techniques to meet client preferences. Provide consultations to clients regarding their desired styles and hair care. Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client experience. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and tools. Mentor and train junior staff in braiding techniques and customer service best practices. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery. Collaborate with the team to achieve store management goals.

Experience

Proven experience in braiding with a strong portfolio showcasing various styles. Background in barbering is advantageous but not essential. Experience in customer service roles, demonstrating effective communication skills. Familiarity with upselling techniques and promoting additional services is preferred. Previous experience in mentoring or training staff is beneficial.

Pay: 11.44-14.00 per hour
