Job Overview

Union Bespoke are a high end manufacturer of kitchens and wardrobe etc. We are looking for a master cabinet maker with at least 10 years experience to join our small team. You will be responsible for following designs, fabricating, and assembling high-quality cabinetry and furniture pieces. This role offers an opportunity to work on bespoke projects, utilising a range of traditional and modern carpentry techniques. The ideal applicant will possess a strong understanding of joinery, fabrication, and the safe operation of power tools, contributing to the creation of durable and aesthetically pleasing products. Production managerial experience a bonus but not essential.

Duties

Measure, cut, and assemble timber and other materials to specifications using hand tools and power tools Fabricate custom cabinetry, furniture, and specialised woodwork for various projects Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately to ensure precise construction Operate joinery equipment such as saws, drills, sanders, and clamps safely and efficiently Fit hardware and fittings to completed units with attention to detail Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment in compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements

Proven experience in cabinet making essential. Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, planes, hammers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools including saws, drills, sanders Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling and installation processes Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes Good understanding of technical drawings and blueprints
