Job Description

Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies is an established, forward-thinking 'Talking Therapies' service, providing psychological therapy for people with mild to moderate common mental health problems across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.



We are looking to recruit skilled CBT Therapists who are passionate about delivering effective, evidence-based care - with a true desire to make a meaningful difference.



We are seeking candidates who have:



Completed either a Talking Therapies High Intensity CBT course (PG Dip in High Intensity Psychological Interventions), or a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT.



Full BABCP-accreditation ( or are working towards BABCP accreditation).



Proven experience delivering CBT within an NHS Talking Therapies service, or a similar evidence-based clinical setting.



Confidence and competence in facilitating evidence-based CBT interventions.



Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work well autonomously and within a team.



The post holders will work remotely and face-to-face with clients who present with a range of mild-moderate common mental health problems, for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. They will also carry out assessments as part of their caseload.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a highly valued and fundamental part of what we do. Our CBT therapists provide disorder specific assessments, formulation, and NICE evidence-based Step 3 CBT treatment for people experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems.



Main duties include:



Providing evidence-based CBT Therapy and undertake suitability assessments, making autonomous clinical decisions about own professional practice, with support from a Clinical Supervisor.



Managing a caseload of CBT treatment and assessment clients and maintaining client records.



Assisting the Team Manager and Clinical Lead with operational duties and service development; including training, internal audits and research.



Completion and maintenance of accreditation with relevant governing body (BABCP).
