We are currently recruiting for a

Part-Time Cook/Chef

to join our friendly and welcoming racket sports club in Jesmond.

We are looking for an individual with a catering qualification, who can work independently and has experience in food preparation, good customer service skills, and strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.

Main Purpose of the Role

Prepare and cook food from our menu to a consistently high standard. Assist with cooking for the on-site Nursery, following recipes and required portion quantities. Ensure all work adheres to current Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation. Carry out stock rotation, replenishment, and check incoming deliveries. Package food with correct labelling in line with health regulations. Provide excellent customer service to staff, members, and club visitors. Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment. Work with management to help develop new menu items and specials. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies. Ensure dishes are well-presented and meet the Club's quality expectations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 22 per week
