About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team and lead our forest school experiences.
We are looking for someone to work between 28.5 to 38 hours per week, all year round.
You'll work with a dedicated team to help develop and inspire children, introducing new experiences that prepare them for a future full of possibilities.
We are looking for someone who will promote learning in the outdoor environment and the ethos of Forest Schools and outdoor learning.
We need someone who can encourage exploration, play and environmental awareness.

Qualifications & Experience:
A recognised qualification in childcare (Level 3 or equivalent)
A minimum of one year in childcare is preferred, but we are open to applicants with a range of experience.
A genuine love for working with young children, a creative mindset, and a caring approach to supporting their emotional and educational development.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging early childhood education activities in our outdoor environment.
Be able to encourage a love of learning in all weathers!
Ensure our outdoor classroom is set up ready and is well resourced for the weeks activities.
Lead other staff in carrying out forest school activities.

The work requires moderate levels of physical effort. It involves lifting and handling of equipment and other resources and to be involved in practical activities and physical care of learners and the physical outdoor environment. The role is mainly outdoors and will require working on uneven surfaces and in unpredictable weather conditions. You need to love the outdoors and nature for this role!
This position is subject to an enhanced DBS and two satisfactory references prior to commencement to align with safer recruitment practices.
