Duties
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Create a safe and welcoming nursery environment where children feel secure and encouraged to explore.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring all children's needs are met.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support each child's individual needs.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other educators to develop a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.
Qualifications
A full and relevant Level 2 qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and staff.
A genuine passion for childcare and early years education.
Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience for children.

The successful applicant will have an excellent team working ethic and will be able to bring suggestions and ideas to the setting and enhance our practice. Have excellent knowledge of EYFS, recording observations, assessment and progress, planning next steps and individual learning plans for key children. Keeping records up to date and compliance with EYFS requirements, Communicating with parents. You need to be motivated with the determination to deliver outstanding learning outcomes for children in your care.
An enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory professional references are required before any employment can be confirmed.
