Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Support children's daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a collaborative learning environment.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Assist with food preparation and serving snacks or meals as needed, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Support classroom management strategies that promote respectful behavior and cooperation among children.
Requirements
Prior experience in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or certifications are advantageous.
Strong understanding of child development principles and age-specific educational strategies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with young children, parents, and team members.
Ability to manage time efficiently to balance planning, supervision, and administrative tasks.
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic food preparation is desirable.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for managing snack or meal sales if applicable.
Basic math skills for handling transactions or managing supplies accurately.
A caring attitude with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for early childhood education.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but can be provided upon hiring if not already obtained.

Pay: 24,420.00-40,887.83 per year
