Nursery Practitioner/Early Years Educator

(Level 3)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Early Years Educator

to work in our small & nurturing 6 place

Baby Room

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. This role demands a deep commitment and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional early childhood care and education, with a focus on fostering a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports the growth and development of young children.

independent nursery.

Hours:

4 days per week

, 8:15am to 5:45pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

Annual Leave:

16 days

of annual leave (plus bank/public holidays & Christmas break)

2 inset days

Duties



Ensuring a high standard of care and education. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's growth and development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community. Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their development. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery environment. Organise daily activities that support children's development across the EYFS and the nursery curriculum. Maintain accurate records on the online platform accessible to parents.

Skills



Strong background in early childhood education or childcare settings. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning journeys.
