Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner.

4 days per week.

As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a nurturing and supportive environment. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with children and wants to kickstart their career in early childhood education.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Support the lead nursery practitioners in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Help with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and toileting
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, and educational activities
- Observe and record children's progress and development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area
- Collaborate with parents and provide regular updates on their child's well-being

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Genuine passion for working with children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well within a team
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing nature
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced nursery practitioners
- Basic understanding of child development principles
