We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QUALIFIED Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role involves supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and care. A background in early childhood education or nursery experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Support children in developing basic skills through interactive play and educational activities.
Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team atmosphere.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Skills
Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is an advantage.
Nursery experience or qualifications in early childhood education is essential
Excellent communication skills, particularly in English, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
