Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication administration. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies. Manage inventory, including ordering, restocking, and checking expiry dates of medications. Prepare medication for delivery or collection, ensuring proper labelling and packaging. Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Help with offering NHS and private services

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with medication administration processes and patient care principles is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
