We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical operations within our organisation. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily electrical activities across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and organisational standards.
Lead and mentor a team of electricians and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous development.
Oversee maintenance programmes for electrical systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to minimise downtime.
Manage projects related to electrical installations, upgrades, or modifications, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to facilitate accurate installation and repair work.
Programme and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimise operational processes.
Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated systems requiring both electrical and mechanical expertise.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in all electrical activities.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections carried out, and project progress reports.
Qualifications
Proven management experience within an electrical or industrial environment, with demonstrated supervisory skills.
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems including schematics interpretation and maintenance procedures.
Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Mechanical knowledge is desirable to support integrated system maintenance.
Previous experience supervising teams of electricians or technicians is essential.
Sound understanding of safety standards and regulations related to electrical work.
