About the role
The Qualified Supervisor will lead and support regional Solar PV and Renewable Electricians, plus subcontractors, ensuring safe, compliant, high-quality installations. They will manage workloads, monitor performance and provide onsite mentoring, skills assessments, development support, as well as assisting with recruitment and onboarding. They will also inspect, test, certify and review installations to meet NICEIC, MCS, BS 7671, Building Regulations and company standards, maintaining accurate compliance records and resolving technical issues.
The role promotes a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, processes and productivity. The Qualified Supervisor will provide clear technical guidance, escalate concerns when necessary and represent the electrical team professionally with customers, suppliers, auditors and regulators. They will also prepare performance and compliance reports while supporting audits, technical meetings and operational reviews to drive operational and technical excellence.
