Role Summary



Cultivating a 'Quality by Design' mentality, our

Quality Analytical Coordinator

will assume a pivotal and vital role in promoting a data driven culture within our organisation, facilitating informed decision-making and operational excellence.

Working both proactively and reactively, the Quality Analytical Coordinator ensures that raw materials and products manufactured at Parkacre adhere to all relevant regulations, laws, and internal policies. This includes responsibilities for ensuring the quality and safety of products throughout the manufacturing process by conducting and coordinating analytical tests, interpreting results, and implementing quality control procedures.

You will possess a meticulous approach to process evaluation, a blend of technical skills, leadership abilities, and strong interpersonal communication skills. It is essential that you are a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at identifying and addressing quality issues, and proficient in quality control standards and methodologies; exercising practices to discover new ways to operate and deliver the highest quality services.

Key Responsibilities



Monitoring and Evaluation:



Monitoring and evaluating quality systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. Ensure timely and accurate testing by coordinating and perform various tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to assess chemical, physical, allergen, and microbiological properties (internal and external).

Data Analysis & Interpretation:



Analyse test results, comparing them against established specifications, and identifying any deviations or potential quality issues to enable informed decision-making. Where applicable, support investigations with regards to customer complaints, production issues, and non-conformances to identify the root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions.

Collaboration & Communication:



Accurately communicate data effectively, both verbally and in writing to various stakeholders. Regularly collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Product Development, and other key departments to address quality issues, implement improvements, and communicate quality-related information. Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments related to food safety and quality.

Documentation & Reporting:



Maintain accurate records of all testing, analysis, and quality control activities. Prepare reports and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders Log and manage Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for all tested materials and products. Create and issue customer-specific CoAs, ensuring timely delivery to all clients. Maintain accurate records of product logs, risk assessments, shelf-life studies, and certifications.

Compliance & Risk Management:



Review the suitability of each raw material (RM) during the approval process. Ensure that all products and processes adhere to relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Skills/Experience/Qualifications



The role of

Quality Analytical Coordinator

is multifaceted and requires both industry-specific qualifications and technical abilities. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

Formal Education:



Ideally, Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent qualifications in quality management, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certification and other food safety management system (FSMS) certifications. Ideally, Internal Auditing Qualification.

Experience



Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within the food manufacturing sector; ideally, working with quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO standards, and understanding food safety regulations; including, BRC, GMP, HACCP, and IFS. Familiarity with the implementation and maintenance of inhouse quality management systems. In-depth knowledge of relevant food safety regulations. Experience with Complaint Investigation and Trend Analysis. Direct experience with implementing and enforcing food safety regulations. Ideally, experience of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (specifically, TROPOS). Experience in planning, organising, and executing projects, including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment. Competence in risk assessment, trending analysis, and documentation control. Understanding of product safety, shelf-life studies, and hygiene testing.

Skills



The ability to analyse data, identify trends, and assess risks is essential for effective food safety management. Ability to identify and resolve food safety issues, seeking practical/workable and innovative methods to deliver solutions. Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines. Deliver results on time, within constraints and in line with company policies, procedures, and organisational strategy. Ability to maintain accurate records, conducting thorough inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations necessitates. Strong attention to detail. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to take initiative to identify and address potential quality issues before they escalate. Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and coordinate activities. High ethical standards and integrity in all aspects, promoting the highest levels of quality culture. A continuous drive for quality and a commitment to excellence. The ability to lead and motivate teams, as well as collaborate with others.
