We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team. The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organisation adheres to legal standards and internal policies. This position involves monitoring compliance processes, conducting audits, and implementing quality assurance measures to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Ofsted, local authority, and safeguarding standards.
Conduct regular audits and inspections across supported living locations.
Review and update internal policies, procedures, and quality frameworks.
Monitor service delivery and report compliance findings to senior management.
Support staff with compliance training and provide ongoing guidance.
Investigate incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns when required.
Liaise with external regulators and support inspection preparation.
Identify and implement service improvement actions.
Experience
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, Quality Officer, or similar role within supported living or social care.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations.
Excellent understanding of safeguarding and quality assurance processes.
Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
A qualification in Health & Social Care, Quality Assurance, or Compliance (desirable).
Driving licence and access to a car (preferred).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 24,000.00-25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
