Due to career advancement within the team, we are currently seeking a part time (18.5hrs) administrator on a fixed term contract till March 2026
The post involves supporting the safeguarding team which is part of the wider Quality & Safety Team of the Quality, Governance and Performance Assurance Directorate.
The base for this role is the Trust HQ at Springhill, Wakefield but currently the team are remote working from home. A review of working arrangements is currently underway but the ability to utilise online electronic systems such as Microsoft Teams is essential to support ongoing remote working.
T he successful candidate will need to be a team player who is adaptable, self-motivated, and innovative.
The working hours of the safeguarding team are Monday-Friday 9-5pm and you will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

The successful applicant will work alongside the current administrator and other team members for safeguarding to provide administrative support in all aspects of their role, including:
manage the paediatric liaison / child frequent caller databases and associated administration.
management of safeguarding concerns and enquiries internally and externally using Datix and ambulance systems to collect information and prepare for clinician review.
Directly supporting the Head of Safeguarding with administrative support.
The role will support
Data gathering and analysis to support quality practice.
Support the dissemination of learning and training.
Using excellent communication skills to build strong effective relationships with all internal and external partners.
Contribute to the audits and support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Ability to prioritise tasks and to manage conflicting demands on time and resources to deliver objectives through effective time management.
