The Sachet Company is expanding its current operations to Blackpool specialising in manufacturing premium stick pack products for some of the biggest health and wellness brands in the UK.
As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Assurance Supervisor to contribute to the development and maintenance of robust quality systems. This position is well-suited for an individual with experience in administrative data entry, trend analysis, and food manufacturing.

About the Role
You will be an integral part of our Quality & Operations team, performing Environmental sampling and Product sampling as your core role while also performing daily checks and contributing to the development of our HACCP plans, risk assessments, supplier approvals, internal audits, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Be the 1st point of contact for our production operators and End of line QA technicians.
Carry out final batch paperwork review to aid release of goods
Sample and inspect bulk powder materials and inspect primary packaging upon receipt.
Maintain accurate quality records, logs, and batch documentation.
Chase suppliers of any TDS, CoA or CoC with any deliveries missing any documentation.
Identify, record, and escalate any non-conformances or deviations.
Ensure production staff adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Assist with internal audits and support external inspections (e.g., BRCGS, ISO)
Contribute to drafting and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Support internal audits and prepare for external inspections (e.g., BRCGS, ISO)
Work collaboratively with the Operations Director, Supervisors and Warehouse to uphold product quality.
Critical data input within batch planning and preparing batch documentation.
Problem solving with any potential issues in a packing line.
What We're Looking For:
Level 3 HACCP
Experience in a quality control or assurance role within food, supplements, or related manufacturing
Food safety training
Familiarity with BRCGS requirements and standards (essential)
Understanding of GMP and food safety practices.
Understanding and promoting Food Safety Culture.
High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Proactive attitude with the ability to prioritise and take initiative in a small team
Strong communication skills with confidence to challenge when necessary
Computer literacy (Word, Excel, email systems)
