Vanworx is an industry-leading vehicle converter with a reputation for producing high-quality sports and camper vans. We are embarking on an exciting new project - the opportunity to deliver a factory-approved

OEM vehicle programme

. This project will put our team at the very heart of producing one of the most eagerly anticipated OEM sports vans on the market.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be directly involved in the production of a cutting-edge OEM vehicle programme, contributing to a project that demands precision, efficiency, and teamwork at every stage.

The Role



As a

Quality Assurance Supervisor

, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality standards of all vehicles produced under the OEM programme. This role is crucial in ensuring every vehicle meets OEM-approved specifications, internal build standards, and our own reputation for exceptional craftsmanship.

You'll work closely with Vehicle Technicians, Production Leads, and the management team to ensure each build is completed to exacting standards, with full documentation, traceability, and quality sign-off at every stage.

Key Responsibilities



Produce

Certificates of Conformity (CoFCs)

for each vehicle and ensure all required paperwork is completed and present before collection Oversee and maintain strict

quality standards

across all OEM vehicle builds Conduct

in-process inspections

at key build stages to ensure compliance with specifications Carry out

incoming vehicle inspections (PDI)

to identify any issues before production begins Ensure

final inspections

are completed correctly and that all documentation is accurate and complete Manage

Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

, including raising issues, tracking corrective actions, and verifying closure Maintain accurate

quality documentation

, build sheets, inspection records, and traceability logs Support

OEM audits and compliance requirements

, ensuring the site remains audit-ready Train, guide, and support technicians on quality expectations, inspection standards, and defect prevention Monitor

supplier quality

, inspecting incoming components and escalating issues where needed Drive

continuous improvement

, identifying recurring issues and contributing to process enhancements Ensure strict adherence to

health & safety standards

within all quality processes and work areas

About You



We're looking for someone who is detail-focused, organised, and passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship. Previous experience in automotive quality control, inspection, or supervisory roles is preferred.

Key skills and attributes include:

Experience in quality assurance within automotive, manufacturing, or a workshop environment Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspecting vehicle builds Ability to follow technical standards, specifications, and compliance requirements Good communication skills and confidence in working with technicians and management Competent using inspection tools, documentation systems, and measurement equipment Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple inspections and tasks daily A proactive approach to identifying issues and improving processes
