INTERNAL JOB POSTING

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Quality Assurance Technician

FUNCTION:

Quality Assurance

Reporting To:

Quality manager

Main Responsibilities

Main responsibilities will include:

Supplier Quality Assurance

Support a Goods Inwards inspection and supplier monitoring system to ensure quality of the product received. Co-ordinate supplier related rejections Liaise and communicate with Suppliers on Quality issues and RMA process
Production Support

Maintain existing first article inspection reporting for major customers. Organise disposition of rejected product and collate information for reporting and MRB purposes. Support with product and process investigations Support QA and Engineering through New product introduction Maintenance and review of the NCR database
ISO9001:2015

Support Quality Department to ensure continued registration to ISO9001:2015 Creation, implementation and review of: Quality Standards, Quality Plans, Inspection Instructions, Process Routes and Calibration instructions.
Other

Any other reasonable duties as requested by QA manager. A minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment Computer literate (including experience with Microsoft 365) 3rd Level Education preferably in Engineering or 2 years working in a Quality Assurance role Experience using MRP systems
