The Role




As a

Quality Assurance Technician

, you will support the Quality Assurance function and collaborate closely with the Production and Operations teams to ensure products are manufactured to the highest standards. Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the site's quality improvement agenda and maintaining compliance with customer and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Support quality improvement projects, including training operational teams and monitoring implementation effectiveness. Conduct GMP and hygiene audits according to the site schedule. Assist in investigating consumer complaints and non-conforming products, identifying root causes and corrective actions. Carry out internal audits to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards. Collect and analyse product samples in line with the site quality plan, escalating results where necessary. Lead and document traceability exercises and quality panels as required. Perform operational QC audits and ensure effective follow-up on non-conformances. Support training initiatives for new starters and ongoing team development. Ensure all analytical equipment is calibrated and maintained according to schedule. Maintain accurate and timely data entry to support quality reporting and analysis. Promote and adhere to Refresco's standards on safety, hygiene, and good housekeeping.

About You




We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in quality assurance and experience in food or beverage manufacturing. This is an ideal role if you're looking to step into a QA-focused position within the FMCG industry.

Requirements:

Experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices. A science-related degree is desirable but not essential. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to quality control.
