We are currently recruiting for a QA Technician to work in our production facility in Severn Beach. The hours for this position are Sunday - Thursday between 9.30pm and 6.00am. This is a remote site with limited public transport.

Main responsibilities:



GMP Audits - Carry out GMP Audits as to the schedule and report them promptly to the relevant departmental manager and follow up to ensure issues have been resolved and closed out adequately. Record your audits and actions and communicate any significant trends to the relevant staff. Environmental Sampling - Take environmental samples, swabs, water etc according to the schedule and send for appropriate analyses. Review completed results with the TM or QAM and take any measures that may be required. Monitoring Checks - Carry out CCP verification, daily scale checks and any other daily or weekly monitoring, e.g. temperatures of refrigerators, environmental monitoring in warehouse etc. Ensure that all checks are carried out at the appropriate time. Ensure that if any reading is out of range that appropriate action is taken immediately. Glass and Hard Plastic Control - Ensure audits are carried out as per the schedule and any damage is notified to the appropriate departmental manager. NCRs - Raise NCR as appropriate, either for materials or processes and procedures. Ensure that any NCR raised is properly investigated, that the root cause is identified, and that the NCR is closed out on time. Allergen Monitoring of Plant & Equipment - As and when required carry out allergen swabbing, coupled with visual assessment, of plant and equipment. Manage the testing, re-testing and releasing of correctly cleaned equipment to production. Check that the production line always has all the necessary QAS it requires. Retained Samples - Ensure all samples are correctly collated and stored. Complete Internal Audits. Carry out other tasks within your capability or after training to help meet the roles of the team.

Person specification/Qualifications/Capabilities:



Previous QA experience is preferable. Attention to detail.
