About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Quality Assurance Inspector
to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards, supporting continuous improvement, and promoting a strong Food Safety and Quality Culture.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for quality matters on the production floor.
Conduct quality inspections and process audits during shifts.
Review and update SOPs/SPLs and maintain quality display boards.
Analyze production samples against approved standards.
Support training initiatives and departmental updates.
Assist with containment and sorting of faulty materials.
Manage quarantined products and issue scrap/credits as needed.
Perform finished goods checks and material testing.
Conduct Glass & Brittle Materials audits and publish results.
Carry out GMP audits, raise/manage non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions are closed.
Support NCR investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
Assist with customer complaint investigations and evidence gathering.
Maintain accurate records and uphold housekeeping standards.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in quality control (essential).
Manufacturing experience (food, print, or packaging preferred).
Internal/external auditing experience (essential).
Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word); Avante experience desirable.
Excellent communication skills--clear written and verbal instructions.
Ability to identify process weaknesses and propose solutions.
Highly responsible, reliable, and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
Full UK Driving License.
Positive, "can-do" attitude.
