Quality Assurance Technician

to join our team at our Haverfordwest Creamery. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our award products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished products. Monitor and record production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP, BRC, etc.). Carry out microbiological and chemical testing in accordance with company and legal standards. Investigate and report any non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and traceability. Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality and food safety, supporting training sessions for colleagues on quality control practices and HACCP guidelines. Work collaboratively with production, packaging, and warehouse teams.

About You

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory environment (dairy/cheese experience is a plus). Familiarity with HACCP principles and quality assurance methodologies, Level 2 HACCP and Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification would be advantageous. Sharp attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills. Strong communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also being self-motivated.
