As our business continues to grow, we're looking to expand our Technical Team with a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician who will support our commitment to excellence across food safety, quality, and compliance.

Hours of Role: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm

About the Role:

Reporting to the Technical Manager and working closely with the wider technical and production teams, the QA Technician will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily quality checks throughout the production process Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (BRC, HACCP, etc.) Investigate and report non-conformances, assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain accurate and timely records of checks and audits Assist in traceability exercises and internal audits Support the Technical Manager with preparation for external audits and customer visits Help manage specifications, allergen controls, and product labelling accuracy Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the site
What We're Looking For:

Previous QA or technical experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred Good understanding of HACCP, food hygiene, and quality systems Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments Computer literacy and experience with documentation and data logging A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for quality and food safety
