Coral Tools Ltd (CTL), a market leader in decorating tools and accessories, is seeking a hands-on, detail-driven, and technically astute Quality & Compliance Manager. You'll be the operational guardian of our product integrity, systems governance, and global regulatory obligations--at the heart of everything we make and move.

About the Role



As Quality & Compliance Manager, you'll lead the development and execution of our Business Management System while owning product quality, supply chain assurance, environmental compliance, and regulatory conformance. From artwork and labelling checks to REACH testing and ISO audits, this role ensures our customers, partners, and regulators can rely on what we produce.

Key Responsibilities



Business Management System & Quality Assurance



Maintain and develop our ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 certified Business Management System (BMS) Drive internal audits, document control, non-conformance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives Oversee and maintain FSC Chain of Custody certification

Product Testing & Technical Compliance



Conduct or oversee material compliance testing using the Niton(TM) XL5 XRF analyser and other equipment (training provided) Lead Red Seal / Gold Seal sampling, inbound inspections, and stock count verifications Proof-check artwork and packaging for brand accuracy and legal compliance

Regulatory & Environmental Responsibility



Ensure compliance with REACH (UK/EU), California Proposition 65, and other safety directives Manage Extended Producer Responsibility obligations (Plastic Packaging Tax, WEEE, Batteries, etc.) Coordinate in-house and third-party lab testing and maintain full regulatory technical files Act as liaison for our EU Authorised Representative for cross-border compliance

Systems Integrity & Data Governance



Maintain product and compliance records in SAP, ensuring high data quality and traceability Support system improvements to enhance audit readiness and process transparency

Supply Chain & Supplier Assurance



Conduct or coordinate supplier assessments and site audits (in person or via third-party) Implement risk-based supplier evaluation and corrective action planning

Site Safety & Emergency Preparedness



Fulfil duties as Fire Marshal, First Aider, and Defibrillator Operator (training provided*)
Own site-level Health & Safety risk assessments and promote a strong safety culture

About You



Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality or compliance leadership role within manufacturing, consumer goods, or supply chain settings Familiarity with XRF testing or similar analytical tools (or a strong willingness to learn) Proven experience with ISO 9001 / 14001, FSC systems, and regulatory standards including REACH, Proposition 65, and EPR Proficient in SAP or equivalent ERP systems for quality and product data Strong communicator, confident in engaging cross-functional teams and external stakeholders Comfortable managing both strategic frameworks and hands-on testing/documentation work

Pay: 38,000.00-45,000.00 per year
