We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join the Operational Excellence and Compliance Department at our Dunstable site. The Quality Manager will lead, coach & develop a team of Quality employees to support the Dunstable site ensuring that products and processes comply with specifications, HACCP principles and BRC/ISO and Customer requirements.

Key Areas of responsibility?
Review and maintain the Quality Management System - Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI), spreadsheets, Technical/Quality Agreements
Coordinate and Lead with BRC unannounced audit preparation and act as Leader
Senior member and coordinator of the HACCP systems for the site.
Lead site quality audits and visits.
Coordinate and carry out internal audits (systems and GMP) with robust corrective action close outs.
Continual assessment & improvement of the Manufacturing Site Standards
Manage the concession and non-conformance systems with appropriate corrective actions, on site and with suppliers
Manage and coordinate customer complaints investigations and corrective action close outs
Manage and coordinate pest control site visits and corrective action close outs
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and service providers
Support the development team during the concept to launch process to ensure all new products, once launched, comply with all current systems
Maintain QA audit schedule
Manage returns and rework

Knowledge, Training and Experience required?
Minimum 5 years' experience managing and coordinating Quality, within a manufacturing environment. (essential)
Implementation and management of Quality - ISO 9001; ISO 45001; ISO 14001 and BRCGS (essential/desirable)
HACCP Level 3 (essential)
Lead and Internal Auditor qualification or experience (desirable)
Excellent IT skills, proficient with all Microsoft Office Packages, ERP and Quality software systems
Previous experience in the design and delivery of quality training solutions and assessing the effectiveness of such training interventions
Strong experience in Root cause analysis and corrective actions implementation
NEBOSH Certification (desirable)
Continuous Improvement mindset and experience
