Job Summary:



Due to continued success and expansion Enlight10 Ltd have an opportunity to expand the quality control department and are now inviting applicants for the role of Quality Control Coordinator.

The successful applicant/s will play a key role in ensuring that all manufactured modules, components, and on-site assembly meet Enlight10's quality standards, regulatory and client requirements.

You will coordinate inspections, audits, non-conformance processes, data-analysis of quality metrics, and work cross-functionally with production, engineering, supply chain and site teams.

Your goal:

to ensure finished buildings/units are delivered with consistent quality, minimal defects, and in line with project timelines and
cost targets.

Key Responsibilities / Duties in relation to Electrical and mechanical installations



Coordinate and carry out quality control inspections of incoming materials, in-process production
(factory units, modules) and final modules/components before transportation and site
installation.

Develop, maintain and apply quality control procedures, checklists and documentation (including
for modules, finishes, fittings, services) tailored to off-site/modular construction.

Initiate, track and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions
(CAPAs). Ensure root-cause analysis is undertaken, and corrective/preventive actions are
implemented and followed through.

Support the QA/QC manager to monitor and report key quality metrics/trends (defect rates,
rework, returns, client punch-list items).

Liaise with production/manufacturing teams, design/engineering, procurement/supply-chain, site
teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and ensure
compliance with company quality management system (QMS) and relevant standards.

Provide guidance to front-line operatives and site teams on quality procedures, inspection
requirements, and specification standards.

Maintain quality control check points during manufacturing. Work with the project management team to ensure quality is embedded in planning, to ensure that modules are delivered on time and to the required specification. Where required, support the QA/QC and Enlight10 Ltd document controller to maintain quality documentation (inspection records, test results, certificates, calibration records) and ensure traceability of components. Participate in continuous improvement programmes (lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to reduce waste, defects and rework.

Qualifications & Skills Essential:



Relevant qualification in engineering, construction, quality management or equivalent
(HNC/HND, BEng/BSc, or equivalent experience).

Experience in a quality control or quality assurance role -- ideally in manufacturing, modular
construction, construction/production environment.

Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), inspection procedures, non-
conformance & corrective action processes.

Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, ability to read drawings/specifications and
interpret defects/deficiencies.

Good communication and interpersonal skills -- capable of working with cross-functional teams and driving improvement. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ideally familiar with quality/performance reporting tools. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritise and escalate appropriately.

Desirable:



Experience with modular/off-site construction methods or factory-based production systems. Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) or certification (e.g. Six Sigma, CQI). Experience with statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen). Understanding of construction/regulatory environment (building regulations, CDM, H&S) relevant to modular build and site installation. Familiarity with BIM or digital inspection/reporting tools (ACC).
