*This role may be offered as a Senior Quality Coordinator (Grade 8) depending on the successful candidate and needs of the business.

As a Quality Co-ordinator you will ensure that products released for sale have been manufactured and packaged in accordance with the licensing requirements, Good Manufacturing Practice and business requirements; and to promote quality/compliance within area of operation.
In this role you will...

• Lead the Product Release Service ensuring compliance with GMP standards and Product Quality Specifications and perform Periodic Product Reviews for all products.
• Direct investigations into product and regulatory issues, develop corrective actions, and approve QA and non-QA Standard Operating Procedures.
• Notify Quality Manager and Production Management of GMP deviations, provide ongoing GMP advice, and participate in internal audits and manage action follow-ups.
• Lead and promote Quality Improvement activities, manage Service Levels on document/batch reviews, and provide OQ representation and input on projects and engineering functions.
• Investigate and report customer complaints, prepare and provide OQ training material, perform quality GEMBAs, process confirmations, and audit activities.
• Manage reconciliation, archiving, and release of production documentation, handle expired materials, manage retention and EU samples, notify Third Parties of quality issues, and ensure confidentiality and regulatory compliance in batch release and serialisation.

Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:

• GCSE or equivalent passed in Maths and English.
• Expert/specialist knowledge of GMP.
• Relevant Operational Quality (OQ) experience.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standards of Work (SW).
• Compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Participation in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• A-level or equivalent passes in Maths, English, and a scientific-related discipline.
• Experience in leading improvement projects.
• Knowledge of conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) processes.
• Experience in preparing and providing training material.
• Ability to manage expired materials and ensure retention and EU samples are managed in line with relevant SOP.
• Experience in providing quality input for change control activities.
