to work closely with the Quality Manager, Senior Quality Engineer, and Quality Controllers. This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment (primarily automotive), requiring both technical involvement on the shop floor and customer-facing communication.
Purpose of the Role
You will support quality processes on the production floor and assist the Senior Quality Engineer with office-based quality functions.
Experience Required
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of quality processes and standards
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Managing Director and Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
Communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
Work independently with strong self-motivation
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards
Familiarity with APQP processes (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Charts) and PPAP requirements
Understanding of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
Carry out quality inspections and analyze results
Conduct root cause analysis and manage non-conformities
Collaborate across departments in a cross-functional team environment
Flexibility to undertake a variety of tasks aligned with role requirements and business objectives
Produce labelling for sample shipments
