Purpose of this position



As a key member of the Quality team, you will support and enhance product quality, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your role will be critical in upholding the company's commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities



Investigate and document internal and external quality non-conformances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Coordinate Internal Audit Team activities, execute audits in line with the audit schedule, and support the implementation of follow-up actions. Ensure all relevant process documentation is current, accurate, and effectively controlled. Maintain and manage the equipment calibration database to ensure compliance with metrological standards. Lead or support quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, process efficiency, and record accuracy in accordance with the Integrated Management System. Assist in prototype/sample builds and data collection for new or modified products. Effectively communicate quality specifications, standards, and expectations to all relevant departments and personnel. Promote a customer-first mindset and foster a respectful, collaborative work environment in all interactions. Provide on-site support to production areas for quality control, ensuring timely resolution of issues, validation of in-process controls, and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Oversee and participate in routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products within the Quality Control (QC) Laboratory to ensure conformance to specifications. Deliver technical training and guidance to QC and production personnel, ensuring clear understanding of inspection standards, testing protocols, and data recording practices. Analyse QC test data and trends, identify out-of-specification (OOS) results, initiate investigations, and escalate findings to relevant stakeholders as necessary. Support the validation and verification of test methods, equipment, and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with internal and external requirements. Participate in First Article Inspection (FAI) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including development of sampling plans, test methods, and control documentation in coordination with Engineering and Compliance teams. Ensure the QC laboratory is maintained to high standards, including cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Mentor and support the professional development of Quality team members. Qualifications



Ideally, formally qualified in an Engineering or technical subject, although suitably experienced candidates are welcomed.

Job Function Technical Knowledge and Skills



3-5 years of experience in a technical quality assurance or compliance role. Internal or Lead Auditor trained. Proven ability to identify, analyse, and resolve issues affecting regulatory or quality compliance.
Personal Attributes

Experience in a Quality engineering/coordinating role.



Proven experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Coordination role. Strong problem-solving skills using industry-standard tools such as Brainstorming, Ishikawa (Fishbone), 5 Whys, 8D, and Kepner-Tregoe methodologies. Capable of conducting internal audits; ideally trained to Lead Auditor level. Solid understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and first-principle measurement techniques. Excellent attention to detail and observational skills, with the initiative to respond promptly to quality concerns. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively across all organisational levels. Demonstrates strong organisational, decision-making, and prioritisation abilities. Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to process and relay complex information. Reliable, conscientious, and highly effective in managing time and workload. Methodical and structured in approach to work and problem-solving. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced with MRP systems and related processes.
