Job Description

Working within a fast-paced environment the job holder will work within the Quality team to facilitate the analysis, design, and implementation of process solutions to drive quality performance improvements. You will work along a team based on site, working collaboratively with Production employees and Management.

This role is based on site 5 days a week in Killingworth.

Role Responsibilities

Monitor daily department performance KPI's identifying areas for improvement. Calculates metrics and evaluate process and quality data to recommend improvement opportunities. Provides assistance with process troubleshooting and optimisation analysis. Ensure compliance with all documented quality systems in line with business requirements. Perform/conduct Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Measurement System Error Analysis (MSE), Design of Experiments (DOE), Validations to minimise potential risk during manufacturing activity. Provide statistical support during improvement activity is sampling plans, capability assessments and process development. Act as Voice of the Customer for allocated customers building up and maintaining detailed knowledge/documentation of customer critical to quality standards, manufacturing processes, managing the resolution of NCRs and previous issues. Conduct internal audits to support the business quality management systems. Manage multiple projects related to process improvements. Assisting in developing a long-term strategy for continuous improvement Adherence to Health and Safety best practices in line with Company policy and current legislation. * Performs other job duties as assigned.
