Quality Engineer Required



This is an onsite role only and you must be already based in Dorset or the immediate surrounding area to be eligible for the role.



Tods are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer, to work in our QHSE Department, to commence work as soon as possible, who have a keen eye for detail and quality.

Responsibilities:



Provide Quality Assurance support to the business across all functions Receive and inspect Level 1 & level 2 incoming goods to specification requires Ensure documentation, test records, issue and modification status are correct Ensure items are received undamaged and in the correct packaging to meet shipping regulations and requirements, particularly hazardous goods Liaise with internal department to resolve any supplier non-conformances and issues Input and record relevant data on IT systems Work to the requirements of AS9100 Assist with MRB activities and the closures of NCRs (internal & external) Complete Supply chain audits to support supplier approvals, supplier Promote Environmental, Health & Safety awareness across the Company Ensure compliance with all company & legislative requirements Assist with further activities as delegated by designated manager.

Knowledge and Skills Required to be successful:



Internal Auditor AS9100 / ISO9001 Experience in supply chain or manufacturing roles Experience with continuous improvement techniques Computer literate (Excel proficient) Experience within composite manufacturing (Desirable) Motivate, involve & engage team members to deliver departmental objectives

Tods is a growing business, based on Portland and it is great time to join our workforce. The role is full time, offering 37 hours per week with the opportunity to work overtime once trained. In return we offer 25 days holiday + bank holidays and a company pension scheme.

We operate a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday.

Portland is based on Dorset's beautiful Jurassic coast and is home to a huge variety of water-sports facilities and excellent sailing for all abilities.
