You will be part of a high-performing team advancing innovation in defect detection and quality assurance. You'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge inspection tools, develop deep technical expertise, and directly contribute to elevating product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement pass/fail criteria for critical defect inspections across incoming, inline, and outgoing stages
Defect Analysis Tools leadership and maintain a comprehensive defect catalogue/library
Create and update documentation and specifications for production and manufacturing teams
Lead root cause investigations for new or complex defects
Champion best practices in defect inspection and sampling methodologies
Train and mentor operators and technicians on inspection standards
Partner with Defect Engineers for both optical and SEM-based defect analysis and reviews
Experience & Attributes
Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field
Proven experience in semiconductor or LED manufacturing
Skilled in working with microscopes and inspection tools in cleanroom environments
Familiarity with failure analysis methods (FIB, SEM, EDX)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative approach
Work Pattern
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
One weekend in three (with the Thursday before and Tuesday after as time in lieu)
Includes bank holidays and weekends when they fall within your shift pattern
