About the Role

We're looking for an experienced

Quality Engineer

to join our

Quality Department

at our

Tredegar Site

. Reporting to the

Quality Manager

, you'll play a key role in auditing, improving, and supporting quality processes throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct audits and assess the effectiveness of the

Quality Management Systems

. Provide

customer support

in the UK and internationally. Train and develop staff to enhance understanding of quality requirements. Assist in resolving

customer concerns

and ensure appropriate quality tools are in place. Support

APQP activities

and lead

continuous improvement projects

(SMED, PPM, scrap reductions, etc.). Manage customer concerns, coordinating corrective actions efficiently. Monitor and analyze production data to optimize OEE and maintain KPIs. Oversee calibration requirements.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience:

Strong knowledge of

ISO9001:2015 & TS16949:2016

. Expertise in

PDC, PFMEA, Control Plans, 5S, Lean Philosophy, and core quality tools

. Ideally trained in

TS16949 internal auditing

. Automotive sector experience preferred.

Skills & Attributes:

Excellent customer-facing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in

Microsoft Word & Excel

. Engineering & Automotive background preferred. Self-motivated, trustworthy, Reliable and flexible. Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills.
