Quality Engineer
to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role combining
hands-on Quality Control
with
Quality Assurance
responsibilities. The successful candidate will support inspection activities, maintain quality systems, and drive continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop-Based Quality Control:
Inspect incoming parts, assemblies, and finished products for compliance with drawings and specifications.
Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and pressure gauges.
Document inspection results and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs).
Support workshop teams in resolving quality issues and testing procedures.
Office-Based Quality Assurance:
Maintain and improve the company's Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001.
Assist with internal and external audits and ensure process compliance.
Lead or contribute to root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Track quality metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients to resolve quality issues.
Requirements
Experience in a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering role.
Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic preferred).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and audit processes.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Competent with measurement and inspection tools.
Desirable Qualifications
HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience with subsea equipment or hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of API, ASME, or similar standards.
