About the Role
Are you passionate about quality engineering and ready to make a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Quality Engineering Technician
to join our team and help drive excellence from design through to delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Review engineering drawings prior to release to ensure critical features and dimensions can be inspected and flagging critical requirements.
Designing and implementing jigs, gauges, and fixtures for inspection and testing.
Programming and maintaining Keyence systems for efficient inspection workflows.
Supporting product development with robust test methods and validation processes.
Collaborating across teams to establish quality standards and inspection guidelines.
Assisting pilot builds and tracking product performance and defects.
Leading problem-solving efforts for technical complaints and ensuring traceability.
Conducting First Article and First Off inspections to support manufacturing.
Supporting inspection activities during peak periods.
Managing calibration registers and conducting in-house equipment verification.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Strong English and Maths skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Qualification in Quality or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Ability to interpret technical specifications and confidently use measuring equipment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Desirable:
QA qualification.
Exposure to QA/QC practices and ISO 9001 standards.
