Boran Mopack Ltd are seeking a proactive
Quality & Environmental Assistant
to support our Quality Manager.
Please note this job is on site at BT82 9PH and Sponsorship is not available for this role.
The main responsibilities include upholding quality standards, performing internal inspections, collecting and analysing data, and supporting the implementation of environmental policies in compliance with company and industry regulations.
This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in quality inspections of products, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with company standards.
Support the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining quality control systems.
Identify non-conformities and investigate deviations.
Conduct tests and record data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, audits, and non-conformances.
Assist the Quality Manager in investigating customer complaints and quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Participate in internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Support training initiatives related to quality standards and procedures.
Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to across the factory.
Help with the implementation and maintenance of Boran Mopack Ltd's Environmental Management System and provide environmental KPI reports.
Liaise with internal teams on sustainability projects and external bodies regarding our environmental management system.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance product and process quality.
Other general admin duties requested by the company.
Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different departments.
Strong analytical skills.
Previous experience within a similar role (1-2 years preferred).
Relevant Higher Education degree (preferred, not essential).
Knowledge of quality control procedures, standards, and regulations (ISO 9001, HACCP, BRC)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
