QUALITY INSPECTOR - BROUGH - 12.21 (Temp to Perm)

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications before despatch. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow technical drawings and work instructions, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out visual and dimensional inspection of electrical and mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and finished products. Verifying compliance with customer specifications, drawings, and internal quality standards. Using appropriate inspection tools, equipment, and gauges. Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining traceable documentation. Identifying, reporting, and helping to resolve non-conformances. Supporting continuous improvement and corrective action activities. Liaising with production and engineering teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing, aerospace, or a related industry (preferred but not essential). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Competent IT skills for recording inspection data. A proactive approach to problem-solving and quality improvement.

Monday - Thursday (8.00am - 4.40pm) Friday (8.00am - 1.30pm)
