We're Hiring: Quality Control (QC) Inspector - Fabrication
Edinburgh [Full-Time / Contract]
Are you passionate about precision and quality in fabrication? We're looking for a
QC Inspector
to join our team and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.In this role, you'll be inspecting fabricated and welded components, monitoring shop floor processes, maintaining material traceability, and working closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect fabricated components and welds for defects
Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specs
Perform dimensional checks and calibrate inspection tools
Monitor shop floor processes to maintain quality consistency
Maintain accurate records and reports
Liaise with production and engineering to drive improvements
What We're Looking For:
Strong ability to read technical drawings and specs
Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
Familiarity with industry codes (e.g., ASME, AWS, ISO)
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Hands-on experience in fabrication or heavy industry QC
