How will you make an impact?



In this role you will oversee the control of the QCN / Defect process and assist the Production Supervisors and Quality Manager in day to day tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Quality department. In addition, you will assist in the generation and control of the Company's Quality Process with a primary goal of achieving continuous improvement and striving for Zero Defects.

We will also be considering trainees for this position.



What will this role entail?



Carry out Inspection of all parts to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specification. Carry out CMM inspection of all parts to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specifications. Carry out inspection of goods inward products to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specification. Be able to carry out calibration of the Company's equipment to the Company and the Company's customer/s drawing specification. Carry out manual and CMM first off inspection. Oversee on the job training of Trainee Quality Inspectors, as and when requested by the Production Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager. Be able to organise, document and report results for dimensional inspection to be used in FAIR and PPAP documentation. Generate QCN for non-conforming products with precise information to enable clear understanding of the non- conformance. Participate in the 8d process and improvement events. Assist in the day to day Quality requirements of the Company, under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager and Production Supervisor. Ensure quality standards are met for customers by following customer specifications and reporting non-conformances to the Quality Assurance Manager. Ensure all actions, are linked to the drive for continuous improvement and the striving for zero defects. To carry out additional tasks under the guidance and direction of the Quality Assurance Manager and/ or the Production Supervisor, where required.

What are we looking for?



Previous Quality/Inspection experience. Proficient in English writing and verbal skills Knowledge of using CMM Computer Literate Calibration experience - Desirable*
Previous experience in an engineering industry - Desirable*
Previous experience in an Aerospace industry - Desirable*
DPRV Trained -_-Desirable_

Skills and Abilities:



Ability to apply a great deal of attention to detail and accuracy for entry of data entry and generation of documentation Have strong planning and organisational skills to manage a busy work load Ability to work well under pressure whilst ensuring quality standards are met Ability to work well as an individual and in a team environment Ability to follow instructions and work to company standards Efficient IT Skills, including Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook - Desirable*
