Summary
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our engineering services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the precision engineering industry.
Key Duties
Responsible for Inspecting manufactured components to Aerospace standards
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
First off Inspection
Using CMM and manual inspection equipment
Compilation of FAIRs
Inspection of Goods In to specified standards
Identify and report on all non- conformances
Identify and drive opportunities for improvement within inspection practices to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity
Work closely with engineering, production, and quality departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
Communicate clearly with wider production team and management
Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance practices
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in quality assurance
Skills and Experience
3-5 years relevant inspection experience in an engineering or precision manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9100 and related industry standards
Able to interpret engineering drawings and standards
Practical experience in the use of Mechanical Inspection aids
CMM experience using PC Dmis required
Experienced in FAIR procedures i.e. AS9102
Knowledge of treatment processes
Ability to work within a team environment
Self-motivated, flexible and be able work to tight deadlines
Analytical and Problem Solving
Good communication skills
Must have a pro-active approach
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
