Role Purpose
Build, lead and continually improve Intelliscape's Quality Management System (QMS) - as part of our Integrated Management System (IMS) - to achieve and sustain ISO 9001 certification. Embed risk-based, prevention-focussed quality into everyday operations, projects and supplier interactions.
Partner with Delivery, Engineering, Supply Chain, Service Management and Human Resources to drive first-time-right performance and improve customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
Quality Management System Ownership: Own the governance, maintenance and continual improvement of Intelliscape's QMS, ensuring that it remains complete, current, risk-based and value-adding. Ensure the QMS and controls meet ISO 9001 requirements and are clear and easy to use and access.
ISO 9001 Certification: Achieve and maintain ISO9001 certification. Plan and lead internal and external audits. Establish strong and effective relationships with auditors and accrediting bodies.
QMS / Project / Bid Documentation: Act as author, reviewer or approver of quality policies, procedures, work instructions, templates and records. Produce and/or assure bid and project quality plans, aligning with delivery milestone and gate reviews.
Customer Complaints, Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions: Own the complaints and non-conformity process: triage, containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions. Communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, verified and successful closure.
Support Integrated Management System and Other Certification: Partner with other key stakeholders to support compliance, audit readiness and audit for related standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 and ISO 45001. Align shared processes and avoid duplication across systems.
Monitoring, Reporting and Management Review: Define quality objectives and KPIs and establish dashboards for performance evaluation. Report trends, risks and opportunities. Facilitate management reviews ensuring improvements in company performance in quality assurance are tracked to completion.
Training & Awareness: Provide training and guidance to staff on quality and information security standards. Help embed a quality and compliance culture from the ground up.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement across the business. Prioritise improvements based on impact and risk to enhance quality and efficiency. Strive to establish and maintain a strong quality and continuous improvement culture.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Delivery, Engineering, Supply Chain, Service Management, and HR to embed quality into day?to?day operations - project gates, supplier qualification and performance, service SLAs, competence, onboarding and engineering change management. Co?own boundary processes with other IMS area leads where relevant.
Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy: Promote a culture where Quality is central to Intelliscape. Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, suppliers, auditors and internal stakeholders and represent Intelliscape on all QA matters.
Budget Management: Create and manage QA budgets, covering certification, training, tools, internal audits and improvement initiatives. Track spend versus plan.
Professional Development: Maintain professional development and contacts with relevant bodies and share knowledge across the business.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in designing, implementing and maintaining Quality and Integrated Management Systems (QMS/IMS).
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, with a track record of leading or playing a lead role in achieving certification and audits processes.
Experience of software, electronics, and supplier quality assurance.
Strong collaboration skills, especially with IT and Operations teams.
Ability to train, coach and support staff in quality and compliance matters.
Hands-on approach, adaptable to a lean organisational structure.
Desirable: Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
