Role Overview



Kocher+Beck UK is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to lead and further develop our commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for the strategic management of our Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring our products meet the highest industry standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, production, and customer-facing teams to ensure that quality objectives are met and exceeded, while supporting business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System in line with business and industry requirements.

Regularly analyse quality data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, publish results to senior management, and drive performance improvements.

Manage and execute the internal audit programme to ensure ongoing compliance and identify areas for system strengthening.

Act as the primary lead for maintaining ISO 9001 certification as the primary point of contact for external audits, customer audits, and third-party certification bodies.

Promote a culture of quality across the site, working collaboratively with operational teams to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Lead thorough investigations into customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions.

Administrative support to the Employee Safety and Services Manager to assist with the completion and review of relevant Health and Safety documentation.

Candidate Requirements



Essential



Proven experience with ISO 9001 standard and QMS management within a manufacturing environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate staff at all levels.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality-related activities.

Advantageous



Exposure to ISO 14001 environmental management standards.

Completion of a formal Health and Safety qualification i.e. NEBOSH, IOSH

Strong background in internal auditing and statistical data analysis.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly

desirable.
