To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Infrastructure division. SOCOTEC is the UK's largest independent construction materials testing division, delivering seven million tests a year to more than 5,000 clients either in our laboratories or on-site. SOCOTEC offers the widest range of testing, inspection and certification services in the UK. Our sampling and testing methods are based upon current British and European standards and are accredited by UKAS.



We're looking for a Quality Manager, covering the quality requirements for the Infrastructure division of SOCOTEC UK as required. The main operational offices being in Doncaster, Altrincham & Coventry but with travel to other sites in the UK as required.

Monitoring operational activities to assist in ensuring compliance with the Management Systems to support ISO 17025:2017 and ISO 9001:2015 Undertaking management system audits and construction materials testing activity audits Assisting with extensions to scope (ISO9001 and ISO17025) Management and conducting investigations into customer complaints Handling external audits as required (e.g. UKAS and ISO9001) and supporting Group wide quality audits (e.g. RISQS and FORS)

Experience or knowledge of internal quality audits Experience of external audits Experience of monitoring compliance with ISO9001 and/or IS017025 Experience of construction materials testing (site or lab) Experience or knowledge of at least one of the following: Structural Investigation, Geotechnical and Structural Monitoring or Foundations testing (desirable)

In addition to the above you will possess the following qualifications:

HNC or relevant training plus experience Full UK clean driving licence CSCS card
